Mihara Yasuhiro 3-in-1 Trucker Jacket

Started under the name ‘ARCHI DOOM’ in 1996 and renamed a year later to ‘MIHARAYASUHIRO’, the  eponymous Japanese label has not shied away from bizarre and exciting designs. 

This jacket in particular - based on the Levi’s Type III Denim jacket - features an inside zip, allowing the user to transition between jacket, vest, and liner with ease. This 3-in-1 modular system makes the jacket a highly versatile piece. 

The brown corduroy body and sleeves are complemented by an ash cotton lining, visible as almost a membrane between the sections.

The vest/outer part of the jacket feature the Type III’s signature chest pockets, but with the added functionality of two side pockets. Beneath this layer, on the lining, there are two buttoned pockets - perfect for keeping valuables safe.
